Big Bend Engagement Photographer
I left the ranch at 3:30 AM to get to the park at sunrise. We started a little after sunrise in the park but as I waited for Lois and Kyle to arrive, I had the most peaceful experience. The morning was cool and the sky was the perfect cotton candy colors with all the right shadows. Once Lois and Kyle arrived we took our time walking around experience the cool sunrise turning into a warm golden hour in a quiet Big Bend. I might add this was there first time there so I felt really blessed to share with them the beauty of Big Bend!
About Big Bend
Big Bend National Park (BBNP) is 801,163 acres making it the 15th largest in the national park system. BBNP was established as a national park in 1944 when President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed a Congressional Act. The park borders the Rio Grande river and is home to 1295 species of plants according to the BBNP website.
