Becca and Lucas were such a pleasure to work with! Their friends and family were all easy going and fun to be around. Not to mention, this venue is always a favorite of mine! When I asked Becca what they were looking forward to most about this day was to capture them with their friends and family. I'm a sucker for the far away photos with the crowd in focus because it showcases the love this group have for Becca and Lucas. What a stunning wedding and couple. Cheers to Mr & Mrs. Marquez!
EL PAISANO HOTEL
The Historic Hotel is located in Marfa, TX at the heart of the town. The hotel was built back in 1930 by Charles N. Bassett and designed by Henry C. Trost. Both men were from El Paso, TX. Flash forward to 1955 when Warner Bros came to town alongside George Stevens to film the Western Drama film, Giant. It was during the filming of Giant that James Dean, Elizabeth Taylor and many others stayed at the hotel.
Besides major celebrities staying in the hotel and movies being filmed in the Far West Texas county, Marfa offers culture and an atmosphere for creativity.
The hotel offers multiple amenities and photo opportunistic views.
