West, tX engagement Photographer
Allison reached out to me on my contact form but my husband actually knows Cody and his family really well. So when Allison reached out I was pretty excited to have a client that I sorta knew and felt like this session was going to be really fun and laid back. Turns out, I was right and it was such a natural experience.
Allison was probably the most genuine and kind soul I have photographed and Cody was a great team player in this too! Me and Allison took the Bronco (I got a new vehicle!) off-roading for the first time (well kinda) and headed to the photoshoot location on Cody's family ranch. The guys led the way in the Polaris so me and Allison got a minute to talk and get acquainted. I loved hearing her story and about how she understood entrepreneurship because her dad is one. She also talked about her bright hopes for the future. With her beautiful personality, I know she is bound to do something amazing in this lifetime.
Once we got parked and at the photoshoot location I turned on the playlist. Unfortunately, my phone had just updated and for whatever reason their playlist I had created wasn't downloaded with a ton of my other music. Fortunately, I had a previous client playlist download and they were just fine with it. The session started and I honestly didn't want to stop because the reflecting light from the creek bed was just giving me beautiful results. However, I knew we had a ton of great images so we ended the session and how could I refuse, when offered a cold beverage! It was actually my first time to try a High Noon and I'm now obsessed. With the photos and the beverage!
Please enjoy some of my favorites from this session below!
