This engagement session was actually close to being rained out. Well not really, because I am always up for photos in the rain and having a back up plan. Of course I was going to find a way to make this session happen. These two drove all the way from Dallas for a day to take pictures with me (insert crying but tears of joy emoji)!
We started at the Thunderbird Hotel in Marfa and moved over to the Capri across the street for some of their pretty landscape and then met over at the Water Stop for a cucumber margarita (aka, margarita verde). The Water Stop was my back up plan since I knew that the patio was covered and they have a wall with succulents. I can't forget to mention, the inside is so FUN and I'd love to shoot a session in there but I have yet to do that. Maybe in the near future? We will see!

Thunderbird Marfa is a boutique hotel set up motel style in Marfa, TX with the doors to the exterior leading out into a well landscaped quiet courtyard and pool. It was tranquil area with various locations to sit and really just relax. The Hotel office is right across the street and it is diagonal from The Capri ( a well known restaurant in Marfa).
